it was published in 2018 under the name Post Scriptum and has been through up and downs in development but was acquired by the company that owns and makes Squad hence the name change, graphics arent important to me im more concerned with the gameplay, not that they are even that bad. Also on camping, this is a milsim or at least it is trying to be more realistic then most ww2 shooters out there and you dont just run and gun every second in a real battle, sometimes you just gotta wait until people come to you and figure out what the fuck is happening cause running out in the open is a quick way to die

I dont blame you, i dont have all that much coding experience, i know enough to figure out errors and how to make ChatGPT spit something usable out but it was pretty tedious to set up still. nice video btw, i wish arma had more filmmaking/cinematic capabilities in the editor it is a huge pain in the arse to stage stuff for videos lol

i setup some SQF files to capture movement data of the FPV using BIS_fnc_unitCapture and recorded the movement data of the FPV until i hit successfully on something and saved the data and footage of it hitting, use the BIS_fnc_unitPlay in another SQF file to play the movement data for the drone when triggered and record the playback from the mavic, i can try send the code if you want.

im using a mod that makes it do less damage because its meant for zeus stuff, players in a vehicle being killed in 1 hit from an FPV isnt the most fun, there are bigger booms though

it was a hit, and im not sure i havent played squad in very long but it must have not been a critical enough hit to instantly explode

thanks for the comment! from my understanding most helicopters require atleast 2 HEAT rounds from most shoulder fired AT to destroy, this is more of a harassment attack to make them return to base since it was bombing us

​@@imjohn39802 heat rpgs? The rpg 7 has the only 320mm of pen, do the other rpgs do more damage? And how many frag rounds does it take to destroy a heli?

@@bluelobster420 i only tested the RPG-7, i didnt bother firing more then 6 frag rounds since no one in a real match in there right mind would waste 6+ frag rounds on a heli, i would imagine the single use RPG-26 and LAW types would require around 2 shots to the heli to destroy too but it could be 1 more shot if not, maybe a tandem warhead will do in 1 hit but they dont fly that far

Hits to the body don't do much unless its a powerful missile. You need to hit the tail rotor or main rotor to knock the heli out of the air
