Oh wow! Esape the Night came up on a shuffle for me recently, which I thought was really cool. Didn't know 1) it was a cover and 2) this band has Marty Friedman in it. Pretty cool!

My favorite band of all time. Schenker redefined hard rock guitar playing in 1975 with the "Force It" album.

The 3 flagship bands of progressive Metal are in this order Queensryche,Savatage,Fates Warning. 1982 Queensryche Ep 26 records Queen of the Reich,blinded,Nightrider then came Savatage ! Then Fates Warning 1984 Night on brocken .Dream Theater should not be on the big 3 these groups were 1st 3 .Dream Theater didn't come out til 1989 When dreams and day unite

Incredible that I had that EP on audio cassete much before Marty's solo or Cacophony. Really rocked Bad Boys of Metal over and over again but darn, honestly didn't consider solos so important. 🤭 Didn't listen to that album since late 80's but hell...Marty rocked infernal here from this time distance 😇🤘

I remember seeing this on TV when it aired, and I was hooked on UFO and Michael Schenker's' sound and guitar skills. Don Kirshner was the hottest rock music show on TV back then. I spent many hours as a teenager learning to play this song until I got the lead close enough to perform with my band. There were no online videos or tablature to show you how to play it back then. You had to repeatedly listen to the music and go see him live to learn his and other lead guitar players skills back then. We used It as our closing song on our setlist. Still listen to and enjoy their music today.

I saw "Savatage like 7 times, however, first time I saw them live they were 'Avatar' at "ASTRO SKATE " in Tarpon Springs Late 83. Im from countryside, The Olvia Brotherers are from Dunedin i went to High School with the Hoffman Bros , just as the were forming "DEICIDE"
