Really important topic in oncology. Thanks for your strong advocacy for this often forgotten population with poorer oncologic outcomes, Dr. Ayonrinde! And thanks for sharing this video, @Queen's Health Sciences

The podcast covers interesting content but could do without the affirmative mhm's and yeah's, it distracts from the conversation.

I find Queen's reversal of historical wrongs hypocritical. In this video, the speaker points out that from this change of policy we can learn from history. Well, what a farce! Queen's University would embark on one of the most discriminatory policies within one year of the making of this video: vaccine mandates! Faculty, staff, and students (on and off) campus would be regulated to a segregated environment under the university's policy of vaccine mandates. This video is so absurd I am still laughing about its position of learning from history as to not repeat the mistakes of past segregation, when under the vaccine mandates the people working for this institution (and all the others in Ontario) would discriminated based on one's biological condition of vaccinated or not. Please see chapter five of my book, The Needle and the Damage Done, for a more concise commentary and analysis of this topic. Awesome. I had an SCA in 2009 whilst driving home. I crashed into a house close to home. This saved my life. It got many peoples attention. They saved my life. Paramedics arrived and continued their good work. I woke up 10 days later with a triple bypass and no memory of the event. I now have an ICD which has saved me twice since my event. I know I am so lucky. I am fully like my old self and I have been able to see 5 grandchildren that I would have missed. Wow!

21:30 Wow! I’ve been saying for years that patients would benefit greatly from collaborative teamwork from different areas of health care. So often, the left hand is not aware of what the right hand is doing but when the hands finally join in cooperation, great things can happen. Thank you for validating this, Dr. Chung.

27 year TBI survivor here from a bad car wreck on 3/31/97... I was in the hospital for 26 days and in Physical Therapy for 18 months... I struggle with repeating myself, poor multitasking skills, poor short term memory etc... I attempted and failed at several careers-( Special Education Teacher,Car Salesman,911 Radio Dispatcher).. The combination of TBI issuea,PTSD issues, and career failures led to increased depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.. I FINALLY have a somewhat decent quality of life...I FINALLY received SSDI-( Social Security Disability Income ) after 15 years,4 appeals and 3 attorneys... I now drive for a car dealership part time ans build model cars as a hobby... These activities give my life meaning, help me deal with TBI and PTSD issues, and improve my self esteem...

My husband is only alive bc of a neighborhood aed. Local volunteers were at our house within 10 mintues, the ambulance took 50 minutes. He went into cardiac arrest 3 times waiting on the ambulance. He's 46, fit, with normal bp and cholesterol.... no warning. We are trying to figure out how to pick and purchase an in home aed now. My biggest fear is that he'll go into cardiac arrest in the middle of the night while sleeping and i won't know

Hi , nice video on your channel, I really enjoyed it. Your channel has total 923 members, 144,564 total views, and 295 total uploaded videos. One thing I noticed is that according to your channel, your channel videos are not watched and subscribed. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will go viral. If your channel is a bit optimized and the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. As a professional digital marketer, I want to help you. Let's discuss your channel I look forward to your response

Not on track. It is the cell itself that is a marvel. It is cellular function that is important. The cell must be energized. Start your studies with simple energy production and management inside of the cell. Then, when you understand the cell energy function try to understand what the gut bacteria actually contribute to cell energy function.

At the moment we await published evidence that the CellAED is effective. The UKRC has advised caution. The claims for this are impressive but unless we see actual clinical evidence then it is just marketing hype.

Really informative presentation, Dr. Brooks. My parents live in Adolphustown, 26 km from the Napanee hospital. Recognizing this risk, I've spoken to them about getting a personal or neighbourhood AED for years. It is very reassuring to hear that there is progress in this area. I share your optimism that personal AEDs will be commonplace in the future, especially for people living rurally. I will reach out to those I know in the area for enrollment in the NsN program.
