Many a long night in the castle laboratory. Countless experiment failures but then it finally happened. Success at last! 🧟♂️

A legend, I wore out that 45. It’s wonderful to see him having fun performing it again. I still remember the words, 50+ years later.

In 1962 when this hit was released Bobby Pickett was a hit the song was great I was 9 years old and I could speak monster mash. Still to this day now 71 I can still do it. It's too bad he never found a second hit to this he was sent to my knowledge other songs but nothing ever came close to this spectacular song that is still playing some 72 years later in just a few days on a lot of radio stations rest in peace you always be one of my favorite monsters

So nostalgic, the Monster Mash immediately takes me back to my childhood around Halloween. As an adult, still love this. Not to mention, Bobby was so fantastic with kids, and just people in general. I can only imagine how delightful it would be to be around him, talking to him and simply listening to his wisdom.

It's 2024 now, the song was released in 1962, the fact that it's been 62 years already and the song is still such a hit is really amazing. Bobby is such a legend.

The Nahom argument is one of the ways that I determine if I'm talking to an honest person or not. NHM is for the Nihm tribe that lived in the area. Nahom has never been found on a map, but Nehem has. The area is on the opposite side of an impassable mountain range (the Nehem Range), and the book of mormon text states that they stayed within the border of the Red Sea. Nahum is found in the bible and means mourning or comfort. There's a real possibility that Joseph dictated the word Nahom to play off the word for a place of mourning.
