Is it really that steep or are you not that fit? I’m heading there soon and will be packaging a wheelchair with an adult and maybe a tired child on it so I’m getting a bit scared.

That hill back up is closed now so it’s more gradual up the other way. You can get a train back up too, so recommend you give that a go. It’s just to the right of Ninjago area 😀

I’m excited about doing Legoland for the first and maybe last time before my eldest thinks he’s too old or cool to go. I’ll skip the tiny rides but I could spend all day building and performance testing Lego cars. I’ve run out of space in the house to justify a new set. My retirement plans might have to include converting the eldest’s bedroom into a Lego workshop for some zen time.

Nope, however I recently learned that every ride has to measure you and these are not very consistent. Other parks offer a wristband to show you are 1.4 but TP do not.

You will have a great time! Sometimes the two rides in Forest can open late so you may find yourself stood around. Hopefully not though and you can pick which one you want to do! 😀

The ruins are closed as they have a part restoration project ongoing and also they have had scare mazes in them for the past few years closing them off as well. They haven't opened for the season this year and not sure if or when they will open. Hope this helps.

I went to Alton Towers on Thursday the 18th and holy mother of Mary I loved it! Went on Nemesis and the smiler twice, went on Wicker man, Rita and as well as Galactica. Wasn’t keen on Galactica as I felt uncomfortable being on my back but Wicker Man, Nemesis and The Smiler I loved! Definitely was worth the wait and loved going on them. I honestly did poo myself in the dark hallway getting off the smiler first time when I heard the ride’s laugh track blast in my earlobe and I screamed like a girl. I will say Rita will wake you up better than coffee!
