Damn I'm such a wussy when it comes to taking my bumper off. Here you are by yourself and filming a video. I do basically everything on all my cars. Always avoid bumper removals for some reason.

On most cars it's a real pain in the ass. This car is actually pretty easy in comparison. The only real issue is the oil cooler location

Good work, but curious did you get the kouki core support from z1? They said discontinued and i had emailed them and they had just wanted to sell me the s15 core support as its mostly the same but i was wanting an s14 kouki one for best fit lol

My guess is FB groups and ebay will be your best bet. With RHD coming over people may strip it for race/drift builds. They might get easier to find

I am 23 now and starting to realize that I would rather spend money on my car, because it makes me happy every time I drive. A new something or a game makes me happy for that time but it never lasts. I start saving now to maybe get a m3 in a couple of years. Great vid 👌

I’m also lucky enough to have parents who own a paid off home and don’t ask for rent. I have a 2006 Z06 and am getting a 440i xdrive gran coupe soon. I’m 23 but my first job was at 16 so that’s where a big portion came from. Oh yeah and scholarships. Most I made while in college was 50k. Went from a Passat to a 335i then a 330i then a wrx and now this. I try to avoid financing as much as possible, actually getting a second job soon to save up for the 440 cause I’m not getting a loan lol. I spend around 10k a year and save the rest.

Your GT-R videos are great. I wish you owned a 2017+ with the new interior, though. Much more a pain when I wanted to change the glove box light. The top leather trim piece is hooked to the center console upper side leather trim. It was nerve-racking fixing the light.

This video is exactly what I was looking for. The previous owner of my GTR installed these, but plugged them in without doing anything to the wiring....so the amber lights are on as DRL's only. The white's aren't on at all, so I''ll have to do this to mine when I get some time. Couldn't find any other info online regarding how to wire these up to get everything working properly. Thanks for posting this!

Great video, very informative! I’ve always wanted a gtr and I’ve finally reached the point to where I can buy one so I’ve been trying to find the best year. GTR prices have finally come down (even though they’re still up from when I first looked back in 2019 lol). I’m with you on the DBA, mainly because of my budget but still! Fantastic model. Hopefully I can snag a 2014-2015 before the year is up

Good for the most part. I only have 2 real complaints 1) the seats sit to high and 2) the car is just a little big. I wish it was about 4 in smaller all around

Yes, because I've actually owned both. When it comes to the twisties, the S2K doesn't stand a chance against a NA or NB Miata. I even remember when I had the S2K I did a coastal run with a S2K club. Two Miatas showed up and the S2K owners could figure out why they could keep up with those little Mazdas in the twisty forest road.

No disrespect, building these cars are fun but you have to know what to look for. Even then finding these parts are no easy task. That being said.. These parts are incorrect. Lettys car didn't have Kouki bumpers etc.. It did have JDM S14 style headlights but the body kit used was made by Zeal. Unfortunately no longer in production. The side skirts are available but front and rear bumpers are near to impossible to find. Also the wheels are wrong. They're Yokohama Advan AVS Model 5 18" wheels. You do however have the rarest part... The Vis GT wing. If you need help finding parts let me know I'd be glad to help.

That sucks. But good to know. My thoughts is that all these guys lie about where their stuff is made and likely all made somewhere in china. I talked to my friend at Nissan about the r35 nismo and he said the nismo carbon parts are made by the company that makes the GT race cars. If I have to make a guess why these might not fit is that the nismo carbon trunk might be different shape. I might be seeing the couple of older nismo GTR’s at Nissan headquarters in July. I’ll check.

@Herblenny I've seen a few Nismo GTRs and took close up pics to sent to CT Carbon. The trunks are the same shape, just nismo is made of CF. To get a Nismo wing from Nissan if about $14k

I hate it when there is a big ass diggy and no space to sit at the back , u can also need back seats as diggy so siggy should be small and they should instead make the seating comfortable
