Ok, but what about when the dog starts shifting around trying to get away and just WONT stay still, keeps moving his head AWAY, and basically making it impossible to drop the medicine into his eyes? My dog does all of this and it causes me to miss his eye. It goes everywhere BUT his eye he makes it very difficult. And I have to give him eyedrops twice a day! HELP ME!!

MedVet on bearcat drive was one of the worst experiences of my life. After waiting 3 hours I finally spoke to a vet, she wanted to do a bunch of unnecessary tests and did not address the actual problem, they also wanted to admit my pup for 4 days until they could properly access and treat her. Hello, thank you so much for this excellent video. I have tried everything but nothing works. She’s a little 5 pound Yorky who is 16 years old. When I have to give her medicine she fights me and I don’t want to hurt her because she’s so tiny. She’s not motivated by food and not motivated by treats at all. You had mentioned that you had a pill adaptor where you put The pill in this kind of syringe looking apparatus and then put it to the back of the mouth or at the back of the tongue in the middle. Where can I purchase that? I don’t have anybody to help me and I have been bit so many times. She doesn’t mean it but I guess she tries to close her mouth as hard as she can when she knows she’s going to be getting medication. even when I take my medication, she runs out of the room because she knows. I tell her that’s mommy‘s medication and not hers but I don’t know what to do anymore. Thank you so much, Susan from Canada

My dog is very very uncooperative with these types of things, but I just held his head and gave him a treat and then touch the eyedrops in honour head. She became comfortable with the eye, then put a treat in my hand and in the other hand, the eyedrops, and while giving her the trade, she wasn’t looking the other way. I just put the eyedrops in her eye and she was fine after that.

You forget what to do after removal.. always put the tick in alcohol and swab the site

Thank you so much--this worked so well. It is the best description of how to administer eye drops that I have seen anywhere. The only difference I made is that I did a trial run with a closed bottle first, giving my dog a treat when I first showed her the bottle, and again when I got behind her and put my hand under her chin, and then again when I held the bottle over her eye, and lifted her upper lid. When I saw she was happy with all that, I did the entire procedure.
