I started playing in 2004 with my friend. We are feom Brazil, so we didn't know English or had internet to search. We used to search on the dictionary to advance in the game. I learned a lot 😂😂 Anyway, he was the owner of the PS, so when I moved in 2006 we couldn't play as much as before, so the game was left beside. In 2011 he gave me the PS but kept his original memory card. I started a new save (with more English knowledge) and got beyond our first save. But my brother delete it the save accidentally. I took our original save back from my friend's card and finished the game in 2016. 140 hours in that save, If im correct (plus the deleted one). I dont remember fighting the world championship, but I remember fighting these digimons from your video. I remember that it was so anticlimactic the galaticmon. 12 years, hundreds of hours and knowledge for just "the end" was sad. But I still got this save from 2004 and the PS we started playing as kids. Tomorrow I'll check if I defeated Kurt. P.S.: we spent so many time upgrading our digimons that I was able to beat Knightmon. P.S.2: My friend came from another city just to watch the ending, 12 years later.

At the very least, it refers to online multiplayer, but I am pretty sure it also refers to Colosseum fights. I haven't had an opportunity to test it since I chose the brain code on my first playthrough.

@@GilarHer I haven't tested the total limit of chain melons you can feed to your partner, but it makes no difference if you feed them all in a day or spread across multiple days.

Enemies in FF8 level up with you, but you can avoid gaining experience by using Quezacotl's "Card" ability to transform enemies into cards to end the fight. There is no XP awarded for carded enemies. If I remember correctly, using Card is similar to Morph from FF7 and the transformation has a better chance to succeed if the enemy is not at full health. So, gravity magic like Demi and poison effects can help whittle down HP with less chance to kill the enemy outright before you can Card them.

@@PGIFilms yes yes but theres some enemy you MUST kill and cannot transform (galbadia, etc) I transform all enemy i can and im disc 3 with level 12~13, and you are lever 7 ! 😬

@@Ooky. I'm not the original poster of the video at level 7. You'd have to hope they reply to provide the answer on how they managed to only be level 7 by the time they got the Ragnarock and do the Pupu card sidequest. When I first played FF8, I never realized the enemies leveled up with you, so I was still going under the usual "grind to 99" at you play the game. I think I was level 40-50 around the time I first got the Ragnarok, so my battles were annoying with enemies that were near/same level as my characters.

It looks fantastic but while I could cope with an hour on PSX Doom running at 9fps, not sure I could sink 70+ hours into an RPG running that badly.
