This must be why watching that documentary felt like some soulless white washed commercial product. The director "randomly" decided to make it and got the complete backing of the label and the estate to help. It was pretty obvious to me something was off when the documentary skipped to her being some trainwreck right after the bodyguard with no mention of Waiting to Exhale or The Preachers Wife. I guess whites had no regard for Whitney once she started doing black entertainment and see that as her decline. How typical once again, for people in orbit of Whitney to be careless vultures. So happy Robyn put her memoir out. That is the only definitive version of the Whitney story
