I'm taking offense at the catch image. There are no giant murals across entire 1,000 ft tall Rock faces. It's pronounced ray-ma, like ray gun, not rah-ma like Ramen noodles. Oh yeah and the radical fairies is a failed movement.

Nice! Thank you, love it. Here's my feedback..... More specifics would be helpful, like, what day did you do this so we have an idea of weather and what we're seeing. What time did you leave, how long did each leg take? What time did it get dark? Light? What was the water like temp wise? Did you get in, why or why not? DETAILS. lol What time did you head back out and how long did it take? I'm a new backpacker and need details to understand planning a little more. Super thankful you post and share, look forward to more.
@ThenaturalmedicAdventures2 ай бұрын
I hear you loud and clear! I’ll have to start including a weather report and a detailed itinerary. Who knew backpacking came with a side of data analysis? 😂 Ha just giving you a hard time. I would not recommend Lake Katherine for a new backpacker esp Solo. But since you asked, I did this trip in late August 2022. I walked almost all the way to the lake but setup camp right at dark and passed out from exhaustion. I left around noon the first day and was at camp by dark, approximately 830 pm. It was 8 miles one way not 8 miles round trip so over 16 miles out and back total, lots of elevation gain and started getting dizzy towards the end and very fatigued. I got up the next morning and walked a few tenths of a mile to the lake hung out about 30 mins and then decided to head back down. They dont recommend you get in the water its very cold and I dont think swimming is encouraged. It rained the entire time I hiked up and down. The only time it didnt rain was when i was sleeping and when i was at the lake itself. I hope that answered most of your questions. If not just ask some more...glad you enjoyed the video. You are not allow to camp near the lake. I forget how many feet you should camp away from the lake.
