Yes it does. My eurorack for a long time was Minibrute 2 with 6U Rackbrute.

lol. I want ready for a work session klick on a random soundscape video.. and then this xD

Very interesting! The basic sound is haunting and appears naturally out of the landscape. Maybe like the wind round those rather spiky mesas. I tried varying the playback speed - use the 'settings' gearwheel ikon to access this function - all kinds of other possibilities show. For instance, at the very slowest speed, 0.25, the sound's resonance really shows up. Thanks for uploading, and I look forward to more sound experiments like this. Ah! Just discovered you've uploaded others. Good!

What did you put into StableDiffusion to get those?

"Scientists studying mysterious artifact 1970 science fiction" or something like that. I didn't write the prompt down.

I love the paintings! I'm an artist and quite hard to impress. Lighthouses touch my heart because my mom always loved em, and I miss the ocean here in AZ, after growing up in NJ and much time on Long Island, and my Norwegian blood, and fisherman i am seem to crave the sea 🌊. The sound could maybe be a bit something. But thanks!

Very simple yet super cool idea for a music video :) Musically, I like the vibe, perhaps the arp could vary more, like switch the scale or key or melody or tempo 2/3 times throughout the track :) I dig it tough ;) ❤

Cool and weird montage of music and ai art. Digging the grimdark / futuristic / alien stuff. Music wise I think this random patch would sound even cooler if you paired it with another sound so that they could "talk" to each other

Excellent … you have definitely got the metalizer doing it’s thing. Got to say that Oscillator Sync does a great job with the MB2.

VERY cool presentation. I really like this style of crossfading video and skeptical inquiring robotic interview. Truly hypnotic! At first, I was like, "ok, can we move on to the next sound sample?" But when the beat came in, my mood became, "ok, ok, alright, alright. I'm digging the meditative vibe happening here." Could've gone on for an hour. Big smiles. Thanks! Checking your channel now to find more creative gems there.

In my opinion, the random voltages + clear pitches don't work well, you should try to add more predictable stuff or (on the opposite side) switch further to the "alien side"; for example why not slow down the tempo and only focus on the wet signal from strega?
@KvestiOnMovies2 жыл бұрын
These three Krell music videos were for experimenting ideas. I am moving to more predictable pitches. Arturia's sequencers (Minibrute 2S and Beatstep Pro) allow to have their sequences clocked by random function generator. Did that in my last video. Thanks for comment :)

You might find this funny. Music has some gate staging issues. Day after I made and published this Dom Sigalas made video where he talks about gain staging and had link to video where he shows how it is done kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGfChGiVesl-r5Y If only I knew that when I made this.

Great picture...and sound. I just got this same unit but it acts funky. How do I know if its out of tune or if it has any other problems?
@KvestiOnMovies6 жыл бұрын
You need to let it warm up before it start to stay in tune. It takes from fifteen minutes to half hour. Mine acts bit funky too. It is feature of analog gear. It might feel broken if you are used to digital and digitally controlled synths.
@Antonio2297 жыл бұрын
I have the SE version. You can make this synth sound tamed or aggressive.
@KvestiOnMovies7 жыл бұрын
It is quite versatile when you learn you can keep sliders at halfway for less saturated sounds.

Hey, I just got a NYX myself. I know that depending on the routing settings certain patches will not produce sound based on the VCF resonance. If you haven't already I'd recommend reading through the user manual on dreadbox's website. It's a great synth!
@KvestiOnMovies7 жыл бұрын
I know with certain settings filter's post slide mutes Nyx below half way point. Pulse width of Osc 1 is different thing. Osc 1 goes silent when I set pulse width above half way point. Filter was mentioned in manual. Pulse width wasn't.

I see what you mean now. Might be worth contacting customer support.
@KvestiOnMovies7 жыл бұрын
I don't want to fix it if it is broken. I like the way it works. When I module pulse width I can make sound of osc 1 start little bit later than osc 2. If it is broken I am only one who can do it. :)
