This recording makes me understand, that Soler's fandango is very much more than just a dance. It is a great piece of keyboard music that opens your mind towards the great questions of life. (But yes, it is still very much a dance.)

Es escuchado varias interpretaciones (entre ellas las canónicas de D. Rafael Puyana, que son el non plus ultra) y puedo decir que ésta del malogrado genio Scott Ross es la más cristalina de cuantas he oído.

A great interpretation of this Fandango. With a lesser pianist it can sound a little repetitive especially on an instrument in which the volume cannot be changed by touch. However, Scott Ross certainly injects life into this wonderful piece, not only rhythmically but with changes of rhythm too. Bravo !!

After hearing many others version on YT, this is definitively the best one
