One thing I’m confused about… is the dinner the same day they found the body? Rust said so… however later Marty comes home that same night and sleeps in his chair …

I’d have to rewatch but I think the dinner is supposed to be the same night, since right after they inspect the body in the fields, Marty tells Russ “hey you gotta fucking come to dinner it can’t wait anymore”

"two things can be true at once." Indeed! I watched season 1 back in the day (before my brain injury), and I just rewatched it and enjoyed it just as much! Now, though (post-brain injury), I need these recaps and commentaries to make sense of mysteries, even though I remembered the main plot points of the show. Today, I started off watching your videos on season 4 (which I keep dropping out on because it's too confusing now), then couldn't resist a recap on season 1 which left me sobbing last night at the end of the finale. Thank you for your work! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@@winterhillwarriors I think it’s good casting. It works well in a more grounded show. I just thought the weird food thing might be something from the comic where she’s that massive hulking unit of a woman. It’d have been weird but if they had wanted to cast a similar vine to the comic version they’d have to cast Leah Thomas or Caitlin Jenner or someone for the show.

I liked this episode a lot im excited to watch the rest, you can take so much from that one episode. How his mum encourages him (the one person he has left) how he clearly misses his brothers alongside the acceptance that the opportunity of being a normal person has gone. how he hates being underestimated but seeing the thrill of being underestimated benefitting him. He is in constant battle with himself and it leaves you with the inability to hate his character. Helping that kid but seriously not at the same time. there is an argument in everything going on and I think its really well done

Yeah, you’re spot on. The whole setup thrives the more they put him in situations that paint him as the underdog and the internal conflict that he carries naturally. Can’t wait to see how he plays the two major families off each other.

22:11 isn’t correct. The woman sees them and calls them back but they immediately start shooting towards Rust and Ginger. You can hear the very faint whistle of gunfire as they climb the fence and the gang members come back into view. Another close shave!

Zing plays a great enemy but li Yong slams. The only fighter who is capable of beating li Yong with weapons is ah sahm. Even h2h ah sahm gives him a tough fight zing used weapons against li Yong and still lost.

In my honest review of the whole second season, I like it. Sure, I do have some gripes about but it has some great moments I really liked. Now addressing the elephant in the room, I'm really disappointed that they didn't just continue on with the season. After all that build up for the Dance of the Dragons, we get blue balled and have to wait another two years for them to release a third season. I was really looking forward to seeing some more dragon battles, see Daemond v Aemond square off and watch Criston Cloe be burned alive! All round destruction and war! But nope, we gotta wait. Still though, I feel there were some flaws with this season, mostly the writing, especially Daemon tripping out balls throughout the season in Harrenhal and the odd vision he was given at the end. Aside from some of my criticism, I liked it. I hope the third season is well worth the wait.
