Grew up watching Fingerboard Christmas edits, so I was hyped to be able to make my own! Had fun recording and editing this one. Wanted to upload early so people have time to watch before Christmas I ordered this deck for the video and it looks cool but doesn't perform well lol - so couldn't do all tricks that I planned. How are you liking the G16 still? I'm new and I struggle with it. Currently really digging Goo high or die popsicle mold

It makes certain tricks easier but I notice I sometimes struggle with it too. I do like it though, it's effortless compared to my other setups. I'm not able to practice for long so it could be that What trucks are you using with it? I went with Dynamics and it seems to have made the board too tall or something. I probably should've went with BRTs

@@RelykFB I think so too! I'm using the same 32mm dynamics with G8 Flatface wheels and black cat 2.0 1mm grip. It pops like too much for me it's weird. I'm very very new still learning what I like and don't like. I have quite a few setups from varying companies that I swap too often in a session. I want to try either deli or brt and see i know dynamics give slightly more pop than brt

@ I think G8s are taller too (could be wrong) so that’ll increase the height as well. I definitely want to try some other trucks. I heard some good things about Obsius and they seem fairly priced so I may go for a pair of those in the future if they won’t make my setup so tall (Hopefully you see this reply, KZbin is being dumb and saying it’s not posting lol)

@RelykFB yessir I see it! Obsius trucks look cool and come in some cool colors too. I mostly have leefai edition BRTs on my setups. A few with the real deal. Never thought about wheel height I haven't tried any other wheels with the setup lol

Yes, may be cheaper if you're located somewhere else. I think it's a bit less than $15 USD, no taxes and free shipping (Does take around a week to ship though)

Are their countersinks better? I tried a leefai and it's a weird board, very long, like 103 mm and super high kicks, but I didn't like that it did not have countersinks at all

Yeah they seem to be better. I have an older board from them and it's the same as you described. This new one I bought is smaller and seems like they actually put more effort in

Leefai deck, Leefai 4.0 trucks and Leefai 65D urethane wheels. I like the deck but the trucks aren't that great as they have some issues with the baseplates. Wheels are okay but after using these I realized that I prefer plastic over urethane
