Mine does this randomly I have a 14 2dr jk on 35’s manual. And I have to use my flash cal super chips programmer. And sometimes reset it twice to 87 octane. Also notice that the quality of gas does this. Especially gas going up and down 75 in Georgia to Florida. Pings a lot. Try unhooking the battery for awhile. Then let the jeep relearn its throttle position. You potentially could have a bad throttle body. For some reason on the 3.6 the throttle wires are tied into the oil pressure switch. I had a short near the oil switch. But it kept throwing throttle body codes. Also if you have a super chips programmer. I use towing for the trails. Feels like I have a bit more low end from idle.
@JeepsLimited13 күн бұрын
@Superman01811 i replace the throttle body and it had no affect however I didn't use an oem throttle which these engines don't like non oem electronics for whatever reason. Maybe I'll try it with the tow tune and see what that does.

@JeepsLimited17 күн бұрын
@silverfoxjk yeah it's pretty frustrating. I have 37s with 4.10 gears however I don't think that has anything to do with it. It's got to be some kind of engine function/ sensor function problem. I've been trying to figure it out for a year and a half

the question I have about the baxter filter adapter controversy is. Since synthetic oils have been around from the late1920's and became popular for automobiles in 1960's and 1970's. the synthetic oil manufacturers are the same manufacturers of conventional oils also but for many years have claimed and still claim today that synthetic oils bond to metal and that reduces wear from dry starts, friction, heat and cold starts. so how can baxters claim be true, if synthetic oils solve this problem already?
