Bake This Dreamy Coconut Cake and Watch It Disappear! Full video ( to be uploaded 24/11/24 at 3pm UK time) on this channel ❤ Ingredients Used Ingredients for the cake: 300g all-purpose flour 200g granulated sugar 125g unsalted butter (softened) 3 large eggs 200ml whole milk 50g desiccated coconut 2 tsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda ¼ tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla extract Instructions: Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and line the base of an 8-inch round pan with parchment paper. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the desiccated coconut and mix thoroughly. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes). Add Eggs: Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated. Stir in the vanilla extract. Alternate Dry and Wet: Gradually add the dry ingredients in three additions, alternating with the whole milk in two additions. Start and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined-avoid overmixing. Pour Batter: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake: Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. For the frosting: I used 200g soft cheese (cream cheese, softened) 100g unsalted butter (softened) 300g icing sugar (sifted) 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional) Please subscribe for more amazing recipes ❤
