I had the pleasure of working with the Johnny Flynn Showband years ago..happy days...…..

Recently learned that Kevin Dwyer and son put video clips together brilliant tuam people.

Yes I have Paul’s cd all his cds. Also got Sarah’s. I got to say I didn’t know video of Tuam was on utube until my dear friend Sheila Hurley/Walter Hegarty. has it sent from her brother Ted Hurley after she sent him Tuam showband show. Sheila loved it and enjoyed it immensely. I brought us back with nostalgia to our happy days in tuam. Whoever put the video together was amazing I guess it was Jimmy Higgins. Jimmy was in Danny Kelly’s Tuam brass bank along other marvelous musicians. Take a bow Jimmy. Your fantastic on Galway bay fm. You always support your Tuam people I have to praise Paul for writing song a great tribute. Jointly with jh. I’m Paul’s sister and he deserves great praise. Got from our dad and mam. Xxxx

Excellent recording Well performed and great lyrics recalling the golden era of the Tuam bands, surely Tuam must have more musicians & singers than any comparative town in Ireland.
