thank you for sharing this! It’s always been my favorite show (happy it’s back with some updates!) BUT - I’m SO happy they kept this ending! It always brings a tear to my eye and ignites my inner child - great memories with my parents as a kid here - thank you.

Ik denk dat het komt omdat er op de 23e vrij veel covers op het podium stonden. Maar fijn om te weten dat het geen Corona maatregel is. Wat vond je van de voorstelling?

Was dat de avond dat er iets mis ging met het decor en de voorstelling even stilgelegd moest worden?

Dit was de eerste voorstelling na de première op 11 maart 2020. Op 12 maart 2020 kregen natuurlijk alle producties in Nederland te horen dat ze die avond niet meer mochten spelen. Voor Hello Dolly! bleek de voorstelling van 11 maart dus onverhoopt de laatste te zijn, aangezien op 19 juni 2020 het bericht kwam dat Hello Dolly helaas niet meer te zien gaat zijn in de Nederlandse theaters.

Luckily the ride will open as soon as Disneyland Paris will reopen. That’s really good news. I hope you will have lots of fun while enjoying the new ride!

I really hope that the castle gets a paint job similar to the one they did to Disneyland in 2019, with vibrant pinks and blues. I wouldn't want to add the sparkly stars on the rooftops, I think that would be too much. But I definitely want to see this castle look more saturated because the colours look very muted. They look like the colours from Shanghai's castle.

It's gonna be finished before the 30th anniversary in April 2022, so most likely January or February of 2022. Sorry you won't be able to get your perfect photo...

Unfortunately the planning is that the refurbishment will be finished sometime before April 2022. So it is unlikely that it will be completed before August, sorry.. 😞 Besides that, I know for sure you will have an amazing trip!

@@KeepCalmContemplateYourChoices super late comment. Lol. But yes, it’s a support platform exactly two feet wide. I took a tour of the Fantasmic stage and it’s a platform that Mickey is hooked into by one cable in the back, and it’s about five stories up. The platform is actually controlled by Mickey, as every else clears the area once Mickey is hooked in. They do have a headset and when queued, Mickey presses a foot pedal on the platform that sends it to the top. They told us the Mickey at the time was afraid of heights so every time they had to go up, all they heard through the headset was the performer screaming as they went through the choreo.

The park itself opened op April 12th 1992. However, the castle was installed earlier around 1990🏰

Jammer dat ze het niet waar kan maken. Maar eigenlijk ook begrijpelijk ze is al 80 jaar en al naar 2 premières geweest. Om steeds weer naar al die ellende met Ike te moeten kijken? Ook niet fijn voor haar man met wie ze al decennia lang, gelukkig is.
