Why do horsemen who know so much slap the horse's neck? Stroking softly is all that's needed for the horse to know it did good. Horses don't slap each other, they nuzzle, stroke and scratch with their teeth. Don't be slapping your horse all over.

What brand of wool coolers would you recommend? I’ve seen some on Dover and Smartpak that are around the $100 mark, but everyone said they “cost a fortune” so I’m wondering if I’m not looking at the right thing.

Watching these beautiful horses go by reminds me how lucky some people are. The only horses I got came off the track, no money for lessons, self taught through books and videos. These days I see horses entirely different. I don’t believe in jumping a horse over six foot fences humane, nor do I believe what they do in dressage any better and racing that’s an old barbaric sport that needs to end. Putting the horse’s life at stake for money is something I don’t believe in. If you truly love horses how can you risk them for money.

Thank you so much for this helpful video! Could you please do a video about cleaning a shavings stall? I have a hard time getting all the little pieces of manure and would be grateful for your advice. Thank you!

It's clearly painful to the horse, it doesn't look good so why.. it seems inhumane.

Hearing “Cincinnati Red, American Thoroughbred” made me so happy to hear. I can’t help but have a soft spot for a good old fashioned thoroughbred ❤. Although I appreciate the modern bred horses, I keep hoping to see a high performance TB rise through the ranks again.
