Oh my goodness!!! Every time I hear this song I just cry 😭not from sadness but from joy , the joy I got when I saw my dad giving my momma a kiss he loved her so so much it was the greatest love and it was so very hard when summer came along it meant dad was going to be gone all summer with a few weekends here and there, you see my daddy was a logger and his dad was a logger as with his dad my dad was 3rd generation logger they logged in Oregon until a job landed our dad here in Alaska our mom was so very young they fell so badly I love grandma , mom’s mom recognized that look and they gave Larry permission to marry mom , a year later mom’s expecting their first baby they had 9 of us , 6 girls 3 boys dad said thank god we had boys first, let’s put it this way our eldest brother was 6’6 1/2 and our other 2 brothers 6’ we girls couldn’t date they were to afraid of our brothers especially the tallest😂🤣 By the time mom and dad had their last baby mom was 45 , she was 63 when our baby sister went off to college she became an 8th grade English teacher and and I was in school to become a hairstylist I did hair skin and glamour I am so very glad that I went when I did because everything was all in one group unlike now where you have to go to school 3 separate times , we had two instructors; Millie did hair mostly the hands on Craig did mostly the business aspect of it on what building what you want in your business insurance net and loss and what do you want to call your business and first thing he said was DON’T name it after you , select a good catchy name one that would suit your personality those were the days I MISS the 90’s. Sorry this Was so long 🥰but for my mom and dad may you two be giddy as all heck and running everywhere in heaven together 🙏🏼🥰😇🤩🔭
