Congrats! Very cool shiny indeed! I hear sweet scent is more convenient underwater but I haven't tried it myself. Hope it helps since you mentioned wanting to hunt here again

Congrats!! So jealous you caught it in Heal Ball, I also found a swarm one this December and after 18 balls at 25% chance each it started struggling so I had to Master Ball Neat how the Snover DVD logo hits the corner of the TV at 4:39

So glad KZbin recommended me this! I briefly attempted this myself last year but didnt even get to my first Route 1 shiny 😅 would love to pick it up again in the future. Massive congrats, this is an awesome feat and so cool to make into a video too! Good luck with whatever your hunts are next! Seeing the full 8192 odds in particular makes me very happy!

I want shiny nincada so bad .. yo so I rng manip for my Mudkip then I changed my battery and and got the time to run normally on my save .. is it ok to random encounter for shinys now ?

Yeah you can do regular random encounters just fine even with a dead battery, but it sure helps having a new one. You're fine either way

Do both need to be shiny for Black Kyurem to be shiny? :)

It is a form of Kyurem, so only Kyurem needs to be shiny. This also applies to Necrozma

@ Is Zekrom shiny locked in Black 2? Because I’ve been doing thousands of SR on it now, and if it is, was all my encounters for nothing or will they count if I hunt the Kyurem instead and get it faster?

@@ronniehakkim2385 Both Reshiram and Zekrom are shinylocked, they were not huntable until Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. Realistically, odds are just odds, no matter how much you do the chances are always the same, so wether you want to keep the count or start a new one really doesn't matter

Huge congratulations on finishing such a daunting quest! Map Quests are such a cool idea and it's so fun to see one done to its completion. I've toyed with the idea of doing one myself and this has definitely nudged me more in that direction. Also, this video was really well edited together and a super fun watch! Really looking forward to seeing the Sevii Map Quest in the future.

Lmao yeah obviously love HGSS as games and some spritea are bangers, but always has a distaste to the sprites in general, felt most of the Kanto & Johto mons got a downgrade in sprites compared to DPPt (Gengar, Snorlax, Kanto birds & Johto beasts as examples)
