If you will use buttermilk, you don’t need to use vinegar anymore. Milk+vinegar is just a substitute for buttermilk.

Its basically like prepared in different regions po. Galapong is I think used in Luzon areas and rice is used in Visayas. Im from Visayas thats why I‘m using rice flour. Texture wise, bibingka using galapong is kind of similar to puto cheese texture - fine and smooth and bibingka rice flour has a rice texture- stickier and has more aroma

Looks really good,but I don't care for removing the tops from the cakes, also don't care for cake crumbs in the filling, ganache looks really good also going to try it ,looks really great.

Hi. The description has been updated. I used to put only 1 1/2 tsp vinegar when I first created the recipe but I did some changes. You can use both measurements. No harm 😊

This was 100% the best cake I ever made. My entire family said this is the only chocolate cake I am allowed to make. Even those who don't like chocolate cake ate it. I did add 2 eggs, espresso powder and exchanged half the sugar for brown sugar, plus a 1/4 cup less of sugar to make it a bit less sweet. I wouldn't remove too much as it wasn't sweet to begin with. Thanks for this great recipe. Just wondering if we can use this same recipe for cupcakes or if there needs to be changes? Thanks

Usually it's just 3 days.. If you will put it in the fridge, it will last for a week or 2. just warm it when you want to eat it.
