Who BUYS all these guitars? Every day practically I see ANOTHER guitar brand offering 4-5 THOUSAND dollar guitars! Who BUYS them? Certainly not your AVERAGE guitarist!

Great story Pete! It’s inspiring to hear you found your way in life, combining your passion, carreer and a family life. I’m still trying to make the puzzle fit day by day, thanks for sharing this story, it’s a great motivation! 😉👍🎸

I own one Ivison at the moment - a Dakota One Soapbar P90 in heavy aged TV Yellow (sick!) and have a second on order - and owned at least three others (Korina Dakota, Dakota One Ember Red, and a Ebony Fillmore), so I can testify to the quality and sound. Neil knows that I'm a real PITA when it comes to the neck profile 😀 as the next one will have a slim taper that comes from a 61 Junior that I owned. This is a fantastic video. Well done!

This was fantastic, such a cool story about how Neil started building guitars, met him at a Mott The Hoople reunion show in 2009 at the Hammermith Odeon, lovely bloke, a superb singer, songwriter and guitarist as well, his albums with his bands The Misers and Stone Mountain Sinners are fantastic and well worth checking out, would love to own one of his guitars and I will hopefully when I've saved up !!, thanks for posting 👍🎸😃

Amazing interview! I’ve been in love with PRS Guitars for several years… I have a pretty nice collection of them, but I’ve never been there and taking a tour. Not yet! 2025 will be my year!

I'v just taken delivery of left handed T style in butterscotch with maple neck, and what a lovely guitar it is. Played strait out of the box, i didn't even have to faff about setting it up ! I can't believe it only cost me £99 inc. Post ! How do you get a great guitar for only £99 ? Its blown my mind that a guitar that price can be THAT good ! Thank you Andertons 👍🎸

Bloody hell Pete. Been watching Andertons videos for years but never knew you had such a good career. I literally thought you were some Andertons employee who ended up doing a load of KZbin videos. Haha. Hats off mate. Keep rocking. 👍

The story about playing in the hotel room after a trade show was me in 2009. After 4 days joined at the hip to Paul at the NAMM show I went to my room and played and played and......then the phone rang "are you coming to dinner". It had been about 3 hours. Paul is a genius, mentor, catalyst, visionary.....and a great friend.

Absolute Legend. I’ll tell you, I less and less wear shirts or anything that represents brands besides my own or people I truly believe in. This man is one of them. Inspires me everyday playing his guitars and knowing his story. I will proudly represent his brand. I wish to be one of their artists or ambassadors one day because nobody does it better than PRS in this industry. He truly cares about the instruments and the people that work with him

I was absolutely blown away by Mike's presence during the Glasgow gig recently. I’ve always loved the music, but there and then I fell in love with the people behind it. And this interview shows a side that was completely foreign to me. Of course the makers of such soundscapes are wonderful human beings. How could it be otherwise? We’re lucky to be alive in the same timeline as Russian Circles.

My family moved to the Maryland suburbs about the time Mr. Smith was in HS in the area. We had moved from Oz and I was struck by the fact that there were no options for kids who didn’t want an academic career. In Oz, kids could choose a non-academic course of instruction starting in late middle school. I had friends in my US HS who had no interest in college and were not well-served by offerings in Latin, Gregg notehand for college prep, and the single elective in programming. You could tell what admin thought about the “shop” classes because the grades were weighted differently. Maybe it was the difference in the nature of the school systems we’d moved between and the culture of the two countries. I just felt bad for the strait-jacketing of skills and interests.

If you're into 80s hair metal guitars, gotta watch THE ORIGINAL CHARVEL GANG. Very similar to this, but it has all of the players who used them. It's 1.5 hours long. Jackson guitars started when young player named Randy Rhoads came in to get his famous offset V built. Grover was concerned that doing a neck thru with the radical shape would damage his Charvel Super Strat business. Randy told him to put his name on it, so Jackson guitars was born.
