As a bassplayer: this album has a MASTER in bassplaying and his parts are simply sharp perfection.

As a drummer, I had a blast playing with Jamie. We spent a long time jamming and getting those grooves down. Hands down, Jamie was the best bass player I ever played with and one of the best I’ve seen.

Saw them live with C.O.C. In 1986 and they were awesome, even more fast and furious live. Along with Sons of Ismael, the best Canadian hardcore

I was about 12 years old, the first time I heard "Blinded by Turds" it was performed by Oscar Brand. One of my friends, (who was learning guitar at the time) scored the album version from his parents collection, I think). This version has some great harmonies.

AM Radio in Toronto was great in the 60s. Turn your dial and you would hear syndicated columnists like Pierre Burton and Bill Drylie, Hollywood reports by Jimmy Fiddler, news comments by Gordon Sinclair, Woodbine race results by Daryl Wells, thought provoking short features like "Something to Think About" and of course the World's Worst jokes. How different things are now. I have no interest in turning on my car radio today.

I used to have this on a 45 RPM single. It originally came out in 1981, during the recording industry's short-lived attempt to revive big-band music. I liked this OK, although "Swing" struck me as a rip-off of Glenn Miller's classic, "In the Mood." Nonetheless, thank you for bringing this back.

What a music full of soothing, lovely lyrics! A great musician indeed who makes you to swing and tap-dance forwards, circular, up & down and backwards. This is real art and continue to "Play Your Guitar", artistically, "Mr Hooker!"

Setlist for anyone trying to find a particular artist from the Knit. 0:00 - "Hemachatus Haemachatus" (Track 1) 2:12 - "Naja Naja Atra" (Track 2) 5:52 - "Many-Banded Krait" (Track 3) 16:19 - "Taipan" (Track 4) 17:49 - "D. Popylepis" (Track 5) 18:29 - "Lampropeltis Doliata Syspila" (Track 6) 21:01 - "Boomslang" (Track 7) 32:08 - "Maticora Intestinalis" (Track 8) 38:21 - "Acanthopis Antarcticus" (Track 9) 42:21 - "Hydrophiidae" (Track 10) > (Abrupt cutoff @ 44:51) ================[CUTOFF]========================================================= I may have got some wrong since they're so difficult to distinguish, with the ambient noise and faded transitions and all. If my approximations are correct, that leaves 4 tracks missing, which would get it to about an hour in length.

Have to admit not knowing about this guy at all until I saw some of his clips on KZbin... and wow, what an incredible guitarist he is! Some of the riffs he plays have a really nice jazzy feel... some others remind me of Cream’s live ‘Crossroads’ sound... clearly a superb guitarist who influenced a lot of other players!
