They changed this from the original cartoon version. The movie Mufasa makes sense when compared to this version of the Lion King. However, it doesn't make sense when compared to the original version of the Lion King

Mufasa is a hypocrite and this movie made me like scar

These words lenched to takas brain and lingered in his subconciousness till he felt anger and disapointment snd emotional pain for probaply the first tine in his life He lerned no emotional controle and so the words his fsther told him boiled up fron the depths of his subconciousness TwT parents csn mess us up so much

Taka's actions here are why I believe Mufasa's decision to never speak his brother's name again makes no sense, ok Taka madr a really bad call but when Kiros was about to kill Mufasa he jumped between, pleaded Kiros not to kill him and even fought with Mufasa. I think Disney spent too much time on forging Taka and Mufasa's brotherhood and forgot that "shit, Scar's supposed to hate Mufasa enough to kill him" and so they made Mufasa uncharacteristicly cold towards Taka in the end of the movie🤷‍♂️ If Taka hadn't stood by Mufasa in the end, Mufasa's choice would have made more sense

After watching the entire film. I have noticed a few things... one of em is that as u can see in the clip, Mufasa learned all those hunting skills and survival tactics from Eshe(Taka's mom), Taka was eager to learn those along his mother and his brother too but because of his selfish father, Obasi, he never stood a chance. Because of Obasi's wrong treatment towards his son... Scar grew up to be selfish and evil. Mufasa never did anything wrong, his life, he got everything in the end. But Taka, he lost everything. But when it comes to Sarabi, Taka saw her as a prize, she herself chose Mufasa and he can't blame Mufasa for it. But the most heartbreaking line was - "His destiny was to save YOU." If I were Taka, I would've never fell for such a women.
