Hi. What setting do I need to change to enable the factrory speakers on my GLC43 AMG? When I place a call, the person can hear me, but I can't hear them. I did not install the optional speaker.

This is incorrect. The system upgrade will not damage/intervene with any original features or functions. All functions/features/vehicle information will continue to operate just as expected. Not electrical components will be affected during or after the installation. The system can be reverted back to stock at anytime, without any coding or special wiring.

What about sound quality since it is converted via 3.5mm jack to USB. Have you notice loose of audio quality inhere or?

Hi! This would mean the 'CAN' setting needs to be changed. This can be done in factory settings. Please select a different CAN output. If this still does not work, ensure your plugged the centre console in correctly.

Thanks very much for the installation guide, was very useful to me. But I have a problem with the rear camera.Its works fine when Im in the OEM menu but It doesnt switch in automatic when Im in the android menu. Omg this looked easy on the cla250 shit stupid…. U have remove the , the vents 1st then stereo, then the stupid trim , then the side trim for the instrument cluster, now I’ll take the screen off.. and trying to feed the side. It’s a bitch because there’s only one little slot , no space for the wires because it’s so tight….

The most important questions on the video don’t haven an answer that put me off straight away about this system unfortunately I think looks great but with technology is very difficult as phones gets updated all the time and eventually the screen may won’t work correctly so I prefer keep my c63s original . 👍

I installed the Android display and also have sound. In general everything works perfectly. But I have a strange problem, I hear strange noises, especially when I don't have anything on, i.e. no music or video. The noise is similar to a beeping… is that normal? I read in a forum that it's generally the w205 aux, but if that's true, can you do something about it? Currently I'd rather drive with no sound than hear this beeping noise. If anyone can help please reply here

Simple GPS and WiFi Antenna Installation You don't need to install the GPS and WiFi antennas in a complicated and time-consuming way (like in this video). I tried installing the two antennas right below the subwoofer, and it has been working fine since July 2023 until today (February 2024). It's as simple as removing the adhesive backing and sticking it right below the subwoofer.

Did it end up getting good signal for both the Screen nav apps (like Google maps and waze) and for the wifi signal for wireless android auto/apple car play? It does seem to be much easier the wat you mentioned.

@@hjuninhoh Yes, it's very simple to set up. You just need to remove the subwoofer grille, underneath which there are two flat surfaces parallel to the windshield of the car. You stick two WiFi and GPS antennas there, then put the grille back on, and you're done. Use some apps like FAST Speed Test and GPS Test to check the signal strength again.

@@hjuninhoh no, just turning off the engine is enough. To make sure nothing unexpected can happen, it is best to touch a certain area in the engine compartment, the unpainted metal part to eliminate static electricity.

Very nice, I want to buy the product. I read all the comments here. Everyone mentioned that there was a delay in the sound. Is there a fix for this? I also have a question. After the installation is done smoothly, does it go directly to Carplay when you get in the car? Or do I need to start carplay from the menu every time? I am looking at buying GLC 2017, Benzine version. 1: is it a good car in general with 125k KMs and 2: Does this mean that I can replace the current screen on it with something like this? 3: USB placement is the worst in MB, can they be replaced from the armrest to the "ashtray" area?

Yes it can I actually saw a video of a guy buy the AMG drive select dials and he put them on his steering wheel. Also just incase you didn’t know the W213 E63s preface lift generation lasted from 2018-2020. 2021 to current are the face lift W213’s with the new steering wheel with drive selection. The facelift cars get the AMG drive select automatically while the previous generation it was an option you had to opt in for. The 2019-2021 C63s actually has the same steering wheel as the 2018-2020 E63s but the C63s automatically gets the AMG drive selection also in the coupe form I believe but I could be wrong

Hey Good Evening. On the website it says this screen is only good for GLC 2014-2018. But the video here says 2015-2019. I have a 2019 GLC 300 and just wanted to confirm fitment before I placed an order.

Hi, I recently installed this as per your video tutorial however, the screen is slightly fuzzy. Also, wireless android auto won't work. The app launches on the screen when wired but in either instance, the other person cannot hear me when talking on the phone despite me being able to hear them. Any help you could give would be appreciated.

Is there any lag in the music? I have the same system when there is a AUX to USB AUX adapter box and the music lags by 3-4s. Like if i hit play, the screen shows the music has started playing but the sound comes after 4s. This is fine for music but really gets annoying during phone calls.

Thanks for a good detailed installation. You missed out the 2 USB cables sticking out on the passenger side. What do you do with them?

Hi! In regards to the 2 USB cables sticking out the side, you can either leave them there, or tuck them back up hind the trim to sit until you want to use them, so you can simply just reach in with your fingers and pull them down. They are not necessary unless you would like to use Wired Carplay/Auto, or need to update the system. :)

your volume is up too loud during these conversations. turn it down a bit, and the echo should go away.

since a few days my phone isn’t connecting anymore with the Bluetooth so no music calls car play of any kind works now and don’t know how to fix it but at Bluetooth it now says not activated i think there’s something wrong with that. also in the android Bluetooth setting it shows nothing really weird and it worked before so something must be not right

Probably the best explained video. When you unplugged the AUX did you leave the one cable unplugged and u plugged the android one?

Hi! Yes, that is correct. When the AUX is unplugged from each other on the main power harness, one end of the AUX is literally just alone. You do not need to connect it to anything.
