Hi ! Thank you for the great video! What type of insurance did you get for this business? And did you register a separate LLC for this so it's a business insurance for you? And wondering what it would cover and since it's outdoors ppl need to sign liability waivers etc? Thank you!

Love your videos! We are retiring to Florida with plans to create a glamping experience for our guests. Our plan is to buy property and set up six domes as a start. We’ve broken our campground build into four stages over four years. As we grow, we plan on becoming the premier, upscale site in Florida. Wish us luck!

Coupons used to be good but the extreme couponing thing seemed like a huge amount of work. Plus you got a bunch of things you wouldn’t use in a lifetime. I feed a family that includes my husband and I plus frequent meals for friends who are having health issues and entertaining. So on average 3-4 people a day. Closer to 4 In fairness, I have time and skills and resources so that makes it less expensive. Having said that we eat really really well for about $150 a week. Which would include splurge high end steaks from time to time. Our worst expenses are Diet Coke (hubby). Coffee (me). Wine (entertaining). If I get lazy and buy prepared food like hummus or convenience food which is so much cheaper to just make. Not sure with todays prices I could do $150 a month total.
@TheWhitneyHansen8 ай бұрын
I don't know if I could do $150 with today's prices either. I might need to do a lifestyle experiment to see!

There shouldn’t be eating out ( otherwise its once a month) and no shopping anymore. I learned to cook delicious meal at home and i stopped shopping for clothes. Living minimalist lifestyle, use what you got. Being frugal in 2024 because the inflation is too high.

This is such a helpful video. I’ve been in a depressive state for nearly 3 years since I finished school after GCSE’s. It’s been so much worse this past few months with my dad becoming severely ill and needing surgery… and after turning 18 a few days ago, I just wanted to feel better and become better. I’m sure it will be a slow journey but this video definitely helped me understand where I need to start and what to focus on so thank you! God bless you. 🩷🩷

Sell the car and get a ebike but if you live live in the middle of nowhere or in North America get a used car that you can buy in full and drive it until it dies by then you have saved enough money to buy a slightly used car

This is a good overview of the whole process. I have a nice lake view lot on the border of MO and Arkansas on Bull Shoals Lake that i had originally wanted to do an AirBnb type of set up w a dome or similar but in the end decided the cons outweighed the pros, at least for the time being - the biggest being that I like to spend more time there myself than I thought I would ! especially in the peak season. the second was the difficulty in finding (and keeping) a caretaker as I'm about 1.5 hrs away and there simply are not too many people around that want to do that kind of job. Fortunately permitting in the area are some of the most lenient I've ever seen so that was not an issue. Each of the 5 steps you mention are really excellent but i would suggest that the order in which to think/plan about them need to be flexible because a "no" on one of them can cancel out the others even if they are a "yes". Look forward to your other vids on this as they are very helpful.
@TheWhitneyHansen Жыл бұрын
I totally understand loving the place so much you want to spend more time there personally! I also understand your caretaker situation-- our property is located 2 hours way from where I live and the city has a population of 1,000. It's not easy! 😆 Excited to see what you end up doing!

I would still include it under essentials. It's very likely that your budget will be out of the 50-30-20 during this season of your life. And that is totally okay!
