Hello, I have a different Primo brand but it's not much different than yours. Mine was frozen on top too. I saw a different video about how to thaw it out. It worked great in the morning. Unfortunately, 1 week later its frozen solid again. Do I really have to resort to unplugging it overnight? Mine is less than a year old.

I have a different bottom loading water cooler (Hamilton Beach), but the insides look similar. How much force did you have to exert to get to lid off the cooking tank? In my case, even the hot water line doesn't fill water, for some reason. I let the system thaw out by unplugging it, but I hear the condenser running to cool the water, regardless if I switch on for cool water.

This just happened to mine as well only 1 year old, the brand is now Avalon. They also wont accept my warranty because it it just over a year, so annoying. Dont recommend Avalon's cooler.

Thanks for posting! Had an issue where unit would stop dispensing cold about 24 hrs after it was plugged in. Removed the lid and found ice inside the bath. This indicates a problem with the thermostat. Unfortunately it is virtually impossible to access the thermostat due to preplanned obsolescence engineering, and there is no adjustment for temperature. This said, the only workaround I can come up with is to plug the unit into an appliance timer. This will limit the amount the unit runs and prevent ice from accumulating. Since unit pulls 6 amps, need one that is designed for at least 10 amps. Saw a GE at Lowes for $9 than can handle up to 15 amps. Water will still dispense since water is only used to fill the cold water bath, and if you need hot you should have the timer turn it on around the time of day you need the hot.

We need to take these prayers seriously.

Mine has done this and they are closed due to it is Sunday! I will let it thaw until tomorrow and see what happens!
