I've been listening for a while and the first podcast of yours I found was the healing addiction one, mind you I don't even listen to podcasts that much but after that one, I've learnt so much and it pushed me listen and learn more. This episode in specific helped me heal and understand things from my childhood and about myself that I never wanted to accept. Dear Tarek, as a 54 years old white Irish gay man and traditional Irish Catholic patriot living in the U.K. 23 years, the divisions in the gay community are a disgusting example of the total hypocrisy of the gay community, who should be totally ashamed of themselves - these divisions are even worse here in Manchester U.K. where there was a venue catering to gay black and gay Aisan (Indian and Pakistani) people as well as gay Muslims, but this venue was forced to close down because of intolerance and hate from (within) the gay community - I quite enjoyed this venue while it was open and I made many black and Aisan friends there (who love us Irish BTW) I’ve seen the same thing happening on the Dublin gay scene back home in Ireland, but it has got much worse in recent years, where when coming home to visit family in Ireland from the U.K., I was told that I was “not welcome” at a Dublin gay pride event a few years ago for no reason, before Covid 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪😍
