my groups are always 0.1MOA. I just need to remove 2-3 flyers that's all.

Perfect! this was the video I was wanting haha...I use Area 419 Hellfire brakes here in Missouri...and have had issues with my Lab Radar if the device is in the blast range. I ordered this unit due to simplicity and size, but was worried with it having to be mounted close to the barrel, that the blast would interfere. Appreciate the video!

Spot on shooting! I haven’t posted them on my channel yet but my b-14 300 prc is throwing really nice groups as well. They really are great barrels! I epoxy bedded mine before ever shooting, as all my rifles have shrunk groups in half afterwards, and this seems to be no different. Same as yours ill get usually 3-4/5 of 5 shot groups that will be real tight and a flyer thatll open it up to 3/4-1” max usually with 220 eldx now. Have a clip on of my 600 yd shots with them on though. Haven’t touched my 225 eldms bought 200 of each and VV N160 to push em. I look forward to more data to come. Its always helpful. Thanks

I think i might buy the ATips just fot the cool bag. Like a sack of shiny coins. $100 a box… yah. But i bet my B-14 300 PRC would sure love to spit some out. How do you like the ADG brass? Picked some up with some VV stuffed behind some 220 ELDX and next the 225 ELDMs. Hoping for a node in the 2500fps range as my combo is estimated at approx. 3k barrel life vs 1.5k avg. Fantastic shooting also btw.

The video stalled twice with me, got sound but didn’t get to see the 100m groups! “ if iam honest” and the crap music, glad to see the vernier calipers appear as your thumb doesn’t do it, “if iam honest”! Lose the suppressor and bipod the next time, take some advice on ammo, let us know what trigger weights were! You tried hard, and I was very impressed by your target prep. Easy on the eye!and finally more SK please!

I’ve concluded it works everywhere on my rifle apart from ontop the scope but that makes sense being that far away from the bore line, that’s actually a benefit as it will never pick up other shooters shots on a range

Are loading from the magazine or single shot loading. As a single shot bolt action rifle allows for careful insertion of the round into the chamber and a mag fed is basically uncontrolled it would seem the best method for determining the barrel/ammo accuracy potential would be to test by hand feeding each round. I’ve not seen anyone do a comparison between a seasoned barrel with 10 shot group fired from the magazine and another fired by hand feeding. My assumption would be there is a noticeable difference and possible elimination of the flyers.

Hello Josh, When you test different ammunition in 22lr, don't you clean the barrel between each brand ?

Yes he should clean the Barrel between ammo choices. The lube is different.

If you are all that interested in how well your rifle shoots ,send the barreled action to a test center and lot test.

SK standard plus gives me the best accuracy for my B14r carbon. My average 10 shot group at 100 yards is slightly over 1 inch. At 50 yards, I get around 0.35” 10 shot groups.

@@ngirardo86 Do you have these rifles? I do. And I can tell you with certainty, there is no peening of the chamber because there is no contact of the firing pin with the barrel on these three rifles of mine. If you also have these three rifles, and your firing pin reaches the breach of the barrel, something is wrong with your rifles, and they dont meet factory specifications.

Great video Josh! I bought a B14R a couple of months ago and have added a Trigger Tech Diamond trigger to it as my first modification. That scope looks awesome but a bit out of my price range! So in the UK you can just buy a suppressor at a gun shop? I bought a suppressor here in the US and it cost a $200 tax fee and a year wait to be approved by the ATF and allowed to take it home.

Cracking video Josh and congratulations on the trophies! Its really interesting to see the paperwork they gave you and to hear about your experience of this comp. I'm going to go back and start watching some more of your videos as I'm wanting to get in to doing some comps myself. I'm going to start off doing some of the McQueen's ones at Diggle ranges that I'm in the process of joining and want to try and get some good info under my belt so I can maximise my possibilities of doing well. Thanks for posting this, it's given me a good insight and some motivation to get stuck in and maybe one day... I may meet you at a comp!
