Beautiful singing! What's the name of the songs? I want to hear a professional recording of them. Especially the first song . Also, I would love to know how to find classes near me (Arizona State) where I could learn how to play the huehuetl. I am not of Aztec (Mexica) descent, I just love learning about their culture and music. I've always wanted to see a huehuetl in person and learn to play it.

Those last steps you explained look like me when I'm trying to exercise on my rebounder (mini trampoline). I don't know how to properly exercise on it, so I usually end up doing things that almost look like jumping jacks and what you did.

Genuine question. Why does it seem like most Aztec dancing (at least what I see on KZbin) has a ton of leg kicking halfway? In every video I watch of Aztec dancing there's a ton of people constantly kicking their legs halfway out.

Beautiful! No one said reconnecting with your roots would be easy... I have always wanted to learn danza, but this is difficult (for me at least I am not the most coordinated dancer haha.) I am not giving up even if I want to. Practice and gratitude will lead me to the path...So far I have learned earth, fire, wind, and water. Thank you for this!

Thank you for making these videos! I’ve always loved dancing & realized that this is a way for me to get closer to my ancestors & the elements. My family is Mexican, but unfortunately is disconnected from our sacred traditions. I’m hoping to bring them alive one step at a time & pass down to my future seeds 🤍

I’m only 13 and just learned I’m part native and I’m part of the Aztecs, I’m learning these dances on my own because unfortunately part of my family does not like to get deep into their culture so thank you so much for posting these, it really brightens up myself and teaches me more about my culture :)
