Hi, I would recommend going up a size since satin does not have much give! It will also depend on how you like the fit. You can always take it in. My suggestion on working with Satin is to search in KZbin 'Sewing With Satin', a couple channels I recommend are TomKatStitchery and LiftingPinsandNeedles. I haven't sewn with Satin much as it's not a textile I personally like to work with. It may be beneficial to french seam your duster since satin tends to have a lot of loose threads (freying) while sewing. If you pre-wash it, i also suggest washing it in a large lingerie bag, gentle on cold and serging the raw cut edges to prevent that freying. Hope that helps, but do go to those channels as they have worked a ton with Satin.
