Flown my Mavic 3 Pro in snow multiple times and pretty heavy rain a few times.. no modifications to the drone and never had any issues!! I do have care refresh but have never had to use it. Can't see how this kit justifies the $135 price either!!

Sick flight there boss. One question though, do you ever get scared of losing your drone for x reason up there on those mountains? I also enjoy flying over the San Gabes mountains but man is it very risky.

I put red colored wrap on my drones which minimizes bird attacks. I try not to fly in the mountains during nesting season.

@@DroneFlyingwithUncleBob Yeah i know Hawks and Falcon dwell at those high peaks but I'm talking about like an issue with the drone or something of that nature.

@@rubengarciajr7560 I’ve only fly DJI drones. I’ve never experienced a problem. Even if I fly around a ridge and loose connection, the drone always comes back home. The key is always update your home point.

Great tutorial, thanks. I need to return to the various locations I filmed the initial waypoint shots eight months ago to shoot the follow up seasonal changes . I have not driven up to the locations yet, but I checked my waypoint history and had several questions ? I did not add a new location name or title to the saved waypoints when filming them. How do I work out where exactly to fly the repeat shots from ? When I was planning and shooting the way points originally on location I had thumbnails of the shot as a reference point, but now I only have a vague map. I have tried to load my maps on my RC controller and then hoped to use satellite mode to get some kind of pic reference , but these maps I do not seem to be able to download The only info I get is the distance from my current home location which helps of course, but does not pin point the shots and exactly where they are. Any advice most welcome here please ? I note some shots have a map reference others not for some reason.

I used to take my kids hiking in the Punchbowl, when they were still babies. put them in the backpack and jump from rock to rock. It was so easy then.
