I was doing a model I finished the ground floor, added storey 2 and generated columns, then I imported the first floor g.a and grids so I can know the columns that would terminate at ground level and the ones to continue and where I'd be adding...

No, hidden beams are not always necessary in slabs and I would advice that if you can do without it completely in your designs, please do
