New Testament Acts 2:14-41 38 Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. ---- Next, we can clearly see the Apostle Peter, Chosen by God, said that to be saved we NEEED to get baptized, (IN THE NAME OF JESUS), in water, FULL SUBMERSION, (Below Greek Definition of Baptize) Baptizo bap-tid'-zo Parts of Speech Baptizo Definition NAS Word Usage - Total: 76 to dip repeatedly, to immerse, to submerge (of vessels sunk) to cleanse by dipping or submerging, to wash, to make clean with water, to wash one's self, bathe to overwhelm ---- AND then FINALLY, you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.... This is were you will speak in an unknown Tongue. Dont worry, God will cause this to happen, you must seek for it. Acts 10:44-48 NLT 44 Even as Peter was saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the message. 45 The Jewish believers who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles, too. 46 For they heard them speaking in other tongues and praising God. Then Peter asked, 47 “Can anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?” 48 So he gave orders for them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Afterward Cornelius asked him to stay with them for several days. ======================================================= This happened to me. I received the Holy Spirit years ago now, and speak in Tongue still to this day. No one has ever taught me how or nothing, this all happened because it's all real... SO, this is for you too though, it is for people in 2024, not just 2000 years ago, for you today to receive. You must sincerely ask the real, living God, who see's all listens and see all things and and He WILL make it happen for you. Have faith. Some extra advice, because sometimes people struggle in this way, you dont' need to know HOW God will cause you to speak like this, let Him worry about that, you just focus on praising Him in you personal time with Him, and when your praising Him and talking to him, you can lift your arms and ask Him for the Holy Ghost and He will give it to you. To those who ask. Dont be afraid, it's there for you, God is patient and kind humble and gentle, and very forgiving when we are sincere to Him. He will not force anything on anyone in this way. However, the Scriptures say that "the king's business requires haste", and "now is the day of salvation". So, meaning this needs to happen asap, top priority. Anyways, May God Bless and Keep you always, In Jesus Christ Name!! :D God will give you the Holy Spirit, no one else can... You must really seek God with all your heart, soul , mind and strength and He WILL answer you. Ask God for the understand of these things and HE WILL answer you.
