How do you get kids out of bed if they don't wanna get app mine or 5 and 6? I am a foster mom also what do you recommend for a crib mattress? I am having my first baby June 14th. My name is Ashley.

Hello Ashley! I’m sorry I think I read this at the wrong time and forgot to respond because of that! I literally have always just used mattresses that were donated to us with all the foster kids that have gone through our home. I’ve only had maybe 5-6 kiddos under 2 years old. I haven’t really came across a problem getting kids up that young! I always get the morning people and my kids and myself are not morning people! 😂I know with my own I tend to just dress them myself while they are still in bed trying to wake up. I did see on a Facebook reel this week that mom‘s dress their kids before they go to bed when they have to get up in the morning if they know that they won’t get up easily and then that way they’re already dressed and they don’t have to deal with that part. I know I’ve started a lot of times having my older kids eat at school because of the different times I have to drop off, that’s helpful for the morning rush. I’ve always been kind of weird about sleeping in clothes though, even on the kids pajama days they have to get up and put clean pajamas on before they go to school lol

I’m glad I’m not alone! I’m the same way with cooking and baking. In theory we are going to make magical memories in the kitchen, in reality…. Well it can be memorable 😂

Get the kids to play catch their stuff and put away or throw it at their feet to pick up I but with 3 would get them to jump to nursery ryhmes or their favorite song and their washing machine was 1 5gallon bucket and another 5gal bucket to rinse in. Mind you that was a long, long time ago Your doing well Hi5 Heather.

I sure do try! I’m still trying to find the balance between getting things done and enjoying my kids. This is my first time not working out of the home and it’s exhausting being a stay at home mom!
