Great teaching pastor. But at about 28 min in you say that Gods name, glory and law are the same thing. I disagree. In Exodus 34 verse 6 God proclaims his name twice, then his attributes, reputation, and mercy, which are often referred to as his "name" but are two separate things. Unfortunately, the fathers actual name was removed 6,827 times in our bible and replaced with "the LORD". This is how that verse should read: Exo 34:6 And Yehovah passed by before him, and proclaimed, Yehovah!, Yehovah God!, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, ... And his law is his law. Its the rules we are to abide by if we want his blessing, and not his curse. And I believe those are still in effect today, and always will be, as long as the earth remains. And I write this,: Psa 83:18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth. Rick

Thank you Rick for you comment. I am not saying that Yahweh or Jehovah is the same name as the law of God. I am making the point that the law is God's name as in His character. Also the law is the same as God's glory. Also I would add that the law is love Romans 13:10 as God is love 1 John 4:8. So when we talk about God's law it is His character, it is His name, it is His glory.

Then they would have a special place indeed because they would have more opportunity in life to reach other with the Love of God. Those with a family have different mission fields sometimes. Great question!

I understand what you are saying Jay, but the leadership at f.p. church were so cruel, they drove many many of the members away, they didn't want to resolve conflict. It is a church where the leadership is made up of family members, and if you dont fit in, they make you feel excluded and shun you

Unfortunately, this is not the first time nor the last, I'm sure. With that said, whenever anyone in God's church either misunderstands God's character or just has selfish thinking people get hurt. I just hope and pray that the collateral damage done by others will be healed not just for those hurt but for the offenders as well. Thank you for that, it's a reality that we must face, especially in our own lives. Am I hurting those who God has set in my path to help and love?
