There is actually an uncensored (Murdoc is not pixelated) version on Internet Archive. Worth seeing on a computer if only for the 360 vision where you can turn the camera in any direction to see details obscured in the censored version. It starts with an extra scene with you on the band's tour buss with the band sitting around you - with Murdoc creepily staring at your back😅

If you haven't already you MUST watch WandaVision to understand the context and starting point of this show. Agatha Harkness is a centuries old witch (with a BIG W) from Massachusetts who (spoiler) sees the grief of Wanda as an opportunity to gain more power. Beyond that, I'm leaving that show unspoiled so you can imagine it in the context of Agatha Harkness rather than Wanda. She's not a good one in the historical sense (or at least, as we're led to believe).

I am so so so excited to see someone react to the trailer who recognizes Joe. It's been leaked who he really is but they call him 'Teen' for most of the episodes. It is my belief that this is actually his origin story on how he eventually gets his brother and mom back. In the comics he's considered to be one of, if not the most, powerful witches in the multi-verse (and yes, some consider him to be more powerful than his mother)

In the MCU Agatha has only appeared in Wandavision so far. I think as long as you watch that one, you should be good to watch this, which is sort of a sequel. The character Joe is almost certainly playing also appears in Wandavision in… a different form, let’s say. But they’re being secretive about his identity in this show and calling him “Teen” until, presumably, some kind of big reveal lol. I’m really excited for this, it looks camp and spooky and musical, and the cast is so good. And very gay. Joe is playing a gay character, and it’s heavily rumored that Agatha and Rio (the character Aubrey Plaza is playing) will have some sort of romantic history too. 👀
