My smart sometimes wont go on reverse especially on hills, but drive and neutral works fine, what could it be?

I have Husqvarna ST 138 2015 model. when I push the forward pedal, the mower moves in reverse, the reverse when I push down is okay, but the forward goes in reverse too..? It has me beat what the problem is

Nice video, just a heads up, the number in parenthesis by the fasteners refer to their parts list number, not quantity. It confused me at first too. Also, the sliding pin can be used as a fulcrum to push against with a tire iron or spoon to pop the tire off the rim. Your tip to use it to hold a spoon in place was money! Anyways, thanks for the video.

The Canadian version sold by Princess Auto in Ontario has the flat plates connecting the two rings to each other in 4 places. There are a few versions of the tool. Your video showed the reason for the cotter pinned large pin which I didn't have on my instructions. Ours is blue instead of black. Thanks. Good instructional video.

Perhaps you fixed it off camera, but you left the drive belt outside the 2 J-hooks and on the wrong side of one of the pulleys (leaving it rubbing on one of the guides.)
@DansAutoDiagnosticsAndRepair3 ай бұрын
The J-hooks are for the deck belt, not the drive belt. The drive belt goes on the upper pulley. I didn't film the installation of the deck. Thanks for watching, I hope I'll keep you interested. I'll see ya on the next one.

Thank you very much. It helps to have ALLDATA. Without that, I couldn't look up schematic diagrams and fix cars efficiently. It's $200 a month for a full subscription but there's also a DIY subscription for a lost less. You can pay for specific cars for much less. Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate you watching. Hopefully you'll be watching the next one. I'll see ya then. Thanks for watching. You're helping the channel. I have 55 subscribers as of this reply. Hopefully I'll have many more.

Smart ForTwo 451 superb definitely not a "little electric car". Most Europeans up to about 6ft 6" can fit comfortably fit with no issue. Once you adjusted the seat you seemed to fit ok. Outside the USA we try not to destroy the planet by using huge gas guzzling cars as we prefer economical cars. These computerised actuated manual gearboxes are a bit finicky but this is a common fault on this car. Good logical fix from a position of inexperience shows your mechanical fault finding skills. Well done! ❤

That mower has a 46" deck? Ive never heard of a 46. All other makers offer a 42 then a 54. !

Yes, this one is a 46" deck.

I just got my neighbor's (sitting for 5 years) 1998 Murray with the 18.5HP Briggs opposed twin flat head. It has a 46" 3 blade deck that needs two belts.

I only do what they pay me to do. I'd rather replace them. That's business. You know how it is. I can only suggest, it's up to the customer rather or not they want to pay for it. You'd be surprised how many don't go with my suggestions and it ends up costing them more money. It is what it is.

The smart car is an AMT transmission (automated manual transmission). If the clutch is worn, it will trip the sensor and you’ll have to change the clutch.
@DansAutoDiagnosticsAndRepair4 ай бұрын
In this case, it was just bad connection on the coupler actuator. What I really needed is a jack, so I can get under there and clean it properly and spray it down with Deox-it.

@@DansAutoDiagnosticsAndRepair What happens when the clutch wears out? Will you get a check engine light? Or will you just notice horrible shifting? Remember, the smart car is an automated manual transmission
@DansAutoDiagnosticsAndRepair4 ай бұрын
I'm not sure if the ECM has the ability to tell if the clutch is worn. I'd imagine you'd just get horrible shifting. I would have to check ALLDATA for theory of operation and available sensors for that. I have not come across that issue. Thanks for watching my friend. Stay tuned for more repair videos.

I think you should get out from under a rock because as an American you only think that cars have to be BIG and use a lot of gas/diesel, small cars like this are common in Europe as they use little fuel and are ideal for the city, they are Small yes, but that's the idea. You don't need a Chevrolet Silverado to go to work every day and use 5 times more fuel and not find a place to park. You should use your head more and not your stomach.
@DansAutoDiagnosticsAndRepair4 ай бұрын
I wasn't saying anything bad about the car. I actually like it. I love how fuel efficient it is. It may not be an ideal car to get into an accident in, but I absolutely love the fuel economy. It brings the travel cost down and the emissions.

Indeed. I was glad to have it for sure. It'll be a lot better once I mount it on something. I'm in the middle of getting into a big building, so no more working in the dirt. I moved from Bellville Michigan to Vero Beach Florida, and I was working in the dirt there too. It'll be a nice change to have a concrete floor. One day I'll post a video on where I was, and where I'll be. I'm working on it, so keep watching. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see in the videos. I'm still new at the whole filming thing, and I don't want to be boring, so if you ever have any suggestions for me, go ahead and let me know. I'm open for suggestions. Thanks again for watching and I'll see you on the next one.
