This would be a great experiment for sure! I am mostly processed and sugar free for the last 6 years. I did an elimination (animal based) diet a while ago and realized how much food was affecting so many areas of my well-being. Now I know immediately the inflammatory effects within 3-6 hours after eating an offending food. It will either show up in my mood, a headache, sinus pressure, aches in my knuckles, watery eyes, and very poor sleep. Food is our fuel and can inform so much of what is going on in our bodies. Nutrition is a special interest of mine and I would most definitely watch this series you have planned! ❤

@@beautifullifesageg.3951 yes, it can be almost as if the body is having an allergy. Pulling back from processed foods would be what I would suggest in this situation. I took a gut health test and olive oil was actually beneficial for my gut health. So, taking an individual test to determine what your body needs and wants helps too. It’s actually very unnatural to eat first thing in the morning. I’m not sure when that became a thing(maybe when humans started farming, so they would have energy for the grueling day ahead), but it’s certainly not natural. I can go until 12-1 pm before I feel hungry, and I’m fairly certain my cortisol levels aren’t high. Well, relative to most modern humans. The only person in my family who does eat breakfast regularly is the one who seems to have the most stress.
@MindfulmavenMoments19

@@katieandnick4113 Breakfast is always a good idea. While there is some data to support that you may not need to eat breakfast, eating even a little something in the morning can help with energy levels, blood sugar control, cognitive function, and overall mood. Additionally, morning eaters may have lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and a reduced chance of heart attack or stroke compared to those who skip breakfast. So, if you wake up hungry, consider having a nutritious breakfast to kickstart your day! I personally am dealing with what I spoke about, so I’m trying to eat at least two hours after I wake up. We will see if that helps and I will share. I do think the key here is bio-individuality. We can’t say one thing is good for everyone. That goes against everything I believe. I enjoyed your comment. Then I became a mom and the heavens opened and the music played. I never felt such complete and unconditional love for any living creature. Then I became a single mother of two. I did home maintenance, cleaning, shopping, vehicle repair, conferences and worked full time. I don't know how I did it. I got some financial help from my daughter's father, but no other kind of help from anyone until this last year. And any job is hard to do when you literally never get a break. 24/7 for years and years is mind breaking. I hate to warn other women off of motherhood. But sometimes I think we should. @@MindfulmavenMoments19 I appreciate your calm response, however, these social media confessionals are tearing apart families, and children always pay for adult problems. I would encourage you to find other language to use to describe the challenges you faced if you feel you must share, instead of the broad sweeping "motherhood". All mothers have had challenges that we didn't enjoy, but wasn't your daughter worth it? My mother had five daughters (everyone always remarked "your poor father!" and his father didn't visit us because there was no son to bear his name) during very lean years where they sometimes didn't know where the meals would come from. She passed away in 2021 and one of the last things she said to me was she was very glad to have had all of us. Did you not get to snuggle and hold your daughter and love her, and shape her into a wonderful adult, and wasn't that good? Or if you really feel motherhood was that bad, keep it to yourself and don't color her future happiness with what went wrong for you. The fact that your daughter feels the same way means your message was received by her. I too have a daughter who is just now married and I would never tell her I didn't enjoy mothering her. Think on the positive memories and lovely things, and share that with her as she goes forward into her future.

It’s not our fault that a man who we thought would love us and protect us and our children turned out to be the enemy. Some of us women, like you and I, just didn’t get that. It’s ok. I understand you and I know you loved your daughter. I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I truly am. It completely robs us of our ability and right to be the mother we need for those baby’s. It’s a tough spot to be placed in. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability on a platform that’s so quick to judge and often not understand. 🤍
