That was entertaining, and boy oh boy that looked perfect! I wonder if you could drill a hole in the front to add a thermometer so you dont have to keep opening the door letting the heat drop ? Nice job, thx!
@badbadbob1
@badbadbob1 16 күн бұрын
Looking at the door it has two or three layers of metal. It does screw together so in theory I could take it apart to drill it out. But the factory enamel is harder then any hole saw. It will burn the teeth off. Do you know of a good 2" hole saw that can stand up to that?

Good morning Bob- Nice to so many evergreens around your property. My favorite is hemlock. Our woodland yard is edged with them a a few Christmas trees. Raining here in Central ⛵ Lakes New Hamphire. That has encouraged me to put together some houses for my woodland friends. ~ Diane

I have northern pine trees that don't shed needles but over the years they do leave on the ground some little nubby type depree and I mulch my garden with it and the slugs will not come within miles of it I think the little pointy nubbes on the needle hurt the slugs and will not craw across it! I don't know but I had slugs all over the garden and now I have not seen one! So if you can find something ruff and pointy I think it will work great I put it on thick maybe two inches thick throughout the whole little garden!

I have a roll of copper adhesive tape. I think it’s used in guitars or something. It’s like foil tape made of copper. I wonder if I made a tube around the base of each plant? Or, stick it to the side of big plastic tub itself to stop them climbing up?
@badbadbob1
@badbadbob1 2 ай бұрын
If it does not have a coating on the face of the tape, It should work. There are so many things made from copper for outdoor projects. Even door kick plates. But they put a coating over the copper so it does not weather and get dark.

I hate to do it to you Bob. But I’m gonna be the safety man today. Only because my buddy was running his planer in his garage. Filled up the garage floor with sawdust. Unplugged his extension cord went to the house around midnight. Bus driver in the morning that was picking up the kids was calling the fire department. Because it’s all dust started on fire from the extension cord he stepped on didn’t blow the breaker. Luckily it was contained to the concrete floor. Smoke alarms are nice to I guess. Good work as always, you have a blessed day. That way we can do fried green tomatoes on the woodstove.
