@@bryanturner1773 Hi Bryan. There are no dumb questions only dumb answer’s. The engine or motor & speed control should be water cooled in our boats. So we need to pick it up from some place. Preferably where were not causing to much extra drag. One of the good places to pickup water is behind the rudder. Other places that work well is behind the propeller. & most newer rudders have built in water pickups. I should have worded my title more clearly. Thanks for commenting & God bless.

@@theadventuresofshellyandfr5618 that should work iff the motor is a 40xx motor., take a 45mm prop as maximum. iff you want bigger you need a bigger esc hydros are hard to start, don't be scared to yank the throttle to the maximum to get the hydro on plane.. when it dives wait till the front is up and directly yank the throttle to max again center of gravity must be directly behind the turnfin
