Kylan and Naia seem to have a relationship in the novels, they could be Jen's parents. Jen is brave yet wary like Naia and, like Kylan, picks up a love for reading and writing. In the dark crystal, he reads writing on a wall which could've been the same wall UrVa wrote on which Kylan was memorized by. The novels are really cool when it comes to connecting theories
