The Slovak meaning match with German one's. Slovak has been influenced by German.

Keď dáte príklad "D' ako detsko/detský a "T" ako telo/stelesnenie, čo sa vyslovuje mäkko, ako "ď " a "ť ", nie je to najštastnejšia voľba slova? Slovenčina je citový a spevavý a tvorivý a harmonický a rozumný jazyk. Dá sa v ňom vyjadriť všetko. Alebo je niečo, čo mu chýba? Preto má najdlhšiu abecedu 46, v porovnani s latinskou abecedou 23 a 64 má šachovnica. A je koreňom slovanských jazykoch. Pred 1 000 rokmi bolo v ňom napísaný Nový Zákon. Vtedy, ešte neexistovali iné Eúropské jazyky.
@jgerka11 күн бұрын
When you give the example of "D' as child/child and "T" as body/embodiment, which is pronounced softly, like "ď " and "ť ", isn't it the happiest choice of words? Slovak is emotional and singing and creative and harmonious and sensible language. Can it express everything. Or is there something missing? That is why it has the longest alphabet 46, compared to the Latin alphabet 23 and 64 has a checkerboard. And is the root of Slavic languages. 1,000 years ago, the New Testament was written in it. At that time, there were no other European languages.

it's not aggressive, but objective. I did not watch it, I thought it was pointless and discouraging to those wishing to learn our languages, and I also couldn't help but cringe when you put the stress at wrong places for some most basic English words!

Hey, I dont want to criticize, its a nice video, but maybe it will help somebody. First thing I came across was a letter D. You used a word detský, which actually pronounces like ďetský, so really bad example and the translation is childish, not children. I got lost after the first 2 minutes. You say: "Nouns like Hrdina: Otec, brat, syn, učiteľ, priateľ". But brat, učiteľ and priateľ become bratia, učitelia, priatelia, so they don't use the -ovia form; otec become otcovia (but the e is dropped); syn becomes synovia, which is the only case where the rule really applies. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just trying to understand.

Ahoj, I'm not sure, but I feel that slovakian people doesn't use a lot of preposition in their sentences because of directly using declinations, am I right ? So, I feel it's more complicated to understand. I mean, I'm not sure how to traduce the english preposition 'for' in slovak, is it always with 'pre' ? For exemple if I want to say " I'm baking a cake for my friends" can I translate it by " Pečiem koláč pre moje priateľov " or can I just say "Pečiem koláč (x) moje priatel'ov." with accusative (because pre + acc) or do have I to say it with dative "Pečiem koláč (x) mojim priateľom " ? I'm wondering because I've seen an exemple in a song from Marika Gombitova with the sentence "A vtáci na stenách ktorí preč neletia nemo nám spievali :Toto je raj !" so here I translate 'nemo nam spievali' by 'were singing silently FOR us', but nám is dative and not accusative, so I'm a bit confused. So, can someone explains how it works and what's the most naturel way to say it ?
