I hope more people come to your channel and can actually appreciate just how much of an art this sort of work really is. I love body work have done it off and on for years. But even I know my limits, and I could never do the work you guys did on this vehicle. Props to you. This is amazing.

Some tips. I wouldn't install the cab corner until your outer rocker was completely welded top and bottom into place. Also wouldn't start any fiberglass or body finishing until both rocker and cab corners were fully welded into place. Also, a 60-80 grit flap-disc for the grinder would probably be a little smoother for taking down the welds but otherwise good job.

I have a gmc 05 Swapped to a Tahoe and the paint color was u929L and called cashmere metallic

Use a filler rod. A 3/32 rod with not flux might work to fix the gap. Or put a long strip on the inside. You wouldn’t have to worry as much about burning holes. Plus it will give extra meat

Is it ok to assemble the bumper after you paint it?

Yes but I would suggest letting it cure overnight

@@AlansGarage is it difficult to put the conversion bumper on? I bought one for my ‘08 Lexus is350 and the car is in body shop, the Boyd shop is not gonna put the bumper on for me bc it’s aftermarket bumper and they don’t like to mess with aftermarket so I might have to do the assembly and installation. How long did it take you to figure out how to install the conversion bumper?

@@Ajnabizada it was a trial and error process, it wasn’t too difficult but it does require adjustments which I show in the video. If you look at the front bumper when you test fit it, it rubs on the front crash bar. I trimmed as much as I needed off so that it fit properly & the rest was clip on

I have the exact same car Where you from I need some one like you to repaint my bumper and fender. I had a car accident. And I'm ordering two parts for bumper and fender bender the front upper fender on passenger side kinda push in damage everything else around is cool I just need someone to do a paint job, ill paya. Dont really have much, if you ain't too far
