I would hypothesize that the "connection" from doing the group work has a lot to do with recovery success. We can try ourselves...take away what we learned, understand this cause, do the meditations and exercises and watch videos etc. independently, but its through being part of a group that helps it really take hold (the therapeutic benefits of community have been well proven for example in anxiety and depression treatment...and IMO its stress/anxiety/depression, while not the sole reason, that has a lot to do with perpetuation of the CFS/Fibro.

@@Vestra_Music I definitely have. An antidepressant caused widespread nerve pain in my legs 2 years ago and I'm still crippled and in agonizing pain every single day. I have contemplated suicide because the improvement after stopping them seems to be marginal so far. The Drs attribute it to a chemical hypersensitivity, not exactly like MCS but in the same spectrum. But no matter how desperate I am, it doesn't change the fact that this treatment sounds like a big fat scam. If it really is that good, then make a controlled study and publish it so you can help many others overcome these conditions. Instead, they resort to shady practices and don't disclose any aspects of the "miracle cure" so they can keep squeezing desperate patients for their money. I'll say it again: if it really worked, and they had no shady interests, they would publish it. Many journals would be eager to print the good news...but of course, only if it actually works.
@delriver77

@@Vestra_Music I actually checked their website and didn't find any studies. If you share them with me and they seem legit enough (not open label crap, or studies without a control group which have 0 scientific validity), I will retract from my statement. However, if you don't have any evidence to back this up, the debate is sterile.
@delriver77

@@Vestra_Music btw, I'm not trying to ruin anybody's hopes. I just think you should put your hopes on the right people (scientists and Drs researching MCS). Using anecdotes and testimonials as evidence simply doesn't work. You know they may as well be fake or paid for, right? Do you know how the Amazon review system works? And even if they were real people, there's the risk of placebo effect influencing the results and creating bias, or a misdiagnosis (maybe they didn't have MCS to begin with). Regarding economics, homeopathy is another example of a useless treatment which becomes profitable largely due to the placebo effect. That doesn't mean it works, unless your symptoms were caused by a sugar deficiency.
@delriver77
@delriver77 2 жыл бұрын
@@Vestra_Music have you found the studies? Because "having tried it" is not a valid argument. And no, it is not rooted in scientific evidence, there's no scientific evidence to prove it works, just testimonials without any reliability and/or follow-up. Hypnosis can work for mild cases of different conditions, it rarely works for severe cases though. I happen to be a health psychologist so I delved deep into that years ago... The only reliable options for fibro right know are pharmacotherapy (mainly tricyclic antidepressants and duloxetine, or pregabalin, all of which are strong drugs with many sides), exercise underwater for those who can withstand it, and diet interventions such as gluten or dairy avoidance. There might be more but that's pretty much the gist of it. Psychological interventions are not effective except for like 6-7% of patients that report some significant improvement (check sources: Cochrane Reviews, uptodate). MCS doesn't have therapeutic options that I know of except avoiding environmental triggers, but there's probably something else. I'm more familiar with pain conditions.

@@Vestra_Music sounds like you don't have any arguments to make, or any valid reply to all the points I just made. So this charade is over. If you really are a patient, I hope you get better, although I doubt this program will help (hopefully I'm wrong). If you're just someone on payroll trying to catch more victims for a lucrative scam, I hope karma catches up with you soon.

The best explanation of the limbic system irritation -linked conditions. I did the DNRS program because I was put off by your mentioning of meditation and breathing (can’t stand these), but I always return to this video for the explanation of ME/CFS etc.

My only issue with your theory is that you say the body no longer goes into fight/flight. This isn’t the case. People would die without the ability to generate cortisol/noradrenaline. Plus I go into it quite regularly, it’s easily triggered. Please clarify.

Hi Ashok. Thanks you for your brilliant app. 🙏🏻I am using your Meaning of life Experience app, which I have to say I love it. I am so close to be a payee user. But a lot of time your videos don’t open. Today I couldn’t open the app. Every time this happens I turn my phone off and on thinking it is my phone, but it still don’t open. Do I do something wrong or it is the app?
