Dearest Melanie, when I first heard your voice, I was at the age of 18 in the year 1984! I had to pull my car over and note the DJ, station, and time so that I could call the radio station later and find out who was behind this incredible message in song and the voice! I bought all the records I could! Your presence in this more recent video is wonderful. You inspired me to become a folk singer and I am grateful. Rest in Peace. And to your family, may the memories be a blessing. thank you.

Paul could still hit the high notes, even at his age. His songs give us such wonderful memories and they will always be with us, even after everything has gone. At 2023, age 74, I am listening to him sing and play like it was just "Yesterday". Thank you Sir Paul.
