today is July 28, Independence day of Peru. love this video . thank you for sharing your travel experience. i am peruvian and i have never been in those places. you guys had a wonderful vacation, everybody seems connected with the nature and having fun. free of stress and clean air...waoooo tnx

Thanks Javier. These 2 weeks in Peru were indeed terrific, both in terms of landscape as in terms of culture and hospitality. I am often thinking of returning there.

hi tnx. i watch 3 times already this video....you guys recreated my life experience on the peruvian andes... long days of walking, wet and dirty sometimes; i wore long shirts, pants, hats from my older brothers. i used to walk and play freely all over. although i never experienced the llamas and alpacas near by. i am from Pasco, Peru. your pictures reminds me my childhood. i will go back to peru soon and hopefully, i will visit Cuzco. i live in NYC, USA

La segunda canción se llama "Yarihuanqui" y es interpretada por un grupo peruano. Creo que tendras que regresar al Perú y visitar otros lugares para conocer el extenso folklore del Perú. La Candelaria, el Inti Raymi, Los Carnavales de Arequipa y Cajamarca, La Semana Santa en Ayacucho y en Octubre El mes Morado en Lima. Necesitamos que venga gente como tú y que luego difunda atravéz de estas lindas imágenes lo grandioso de esta cultura casi desconocida en Europa.

Amigo Raz esta musica es interpretada por un grupo ecuatoriano. El tema se llama "Kusi Kusi". No es musica Nazca, eso es musica para relajarse. Esta es musica Inca, para deleitarse, es la musica mas bella del mundo.

Yo también tengo planes de ir en un par de años con mis 2 hijos (ahora 11 y 14) y mi esposo. Pero tengo miedo que algo le pase a mi familia, yo lo digo por la delincuencia. Yo soy de Lima pero vivo en Suecia. Tenías guías o viajaste acompañado en grupo grande lo digo como para espantar a los delincuentes? Gracias si por ahí me das uno que otro consejo.

Hello (I hope English is OK). We travelled just the 6 of us, and we felt perfectly safe (kids were 8,10,13,15). We heard that Lima is crime affected, but we didn't go there. The Sacred Valley felt very safe. We used public transportation. We took a guide (strong recommendation!) on for the 3 days during which we did the Lares trek (we can't carry camping gear at 4700m altitude...). Absolutely great vacations. The kids have wonderful memories (and we parents too). We also have a great hospedaje to recommend while in the Sacred Valley. All the best, Raz

Very inspiring! Being born in Peru, living in Europe, travelled Peru very often. Now a young dad, looking forward to do a trip as you did with your kids as soon as possible. Nice way of exploring a country! Nice to see a traveller instead of a tourist! Best regards!

אחרי שהאמא צפתה וגם יואב ודניאל, אין ספק שכולנו מלאי התפעלות וקנאה. איזה כיף, איזה יופי, מדהים! ממש חוץ לארץ. גם אנחנו רוצים... אבל אצלנו יש רק גשם, ותפילות שהירקון לא יעלה על גדותיו בימים עמוסי משקעים. תעשו חיים גם בשבילנו.
