I think Otis has gone to the great salmon hunting ground in the sky. He hasn’t showed up this year and it’s August 12.

8/11/2024 - I miss not seeing King Otis. Hopefully he found a huge food patch and will return to Katmai next year. If the King should not return in the future, I hope he is having his best bear life. He stole my heart.

I think he looks identical to our King of Katmai, Otis, right down to the tucked butt. He's such a joy to watch. Maybe he'll beam Otis into the office somehow because I sure am missing the ole guy this year. Just isn't the same without him.
