Hi, Becca. If he is trying to hang on and there's a lot of confusion, maybe it just shows dementia and the fear of losing his mind completely. With his uppers and downers over many years, his campaign inabilities to even complete sentences or talk coherently, and the symptoms of multiple minor strokes, it wouldn't be surprising if he loses it completely. If Biden is old, what about Trump? He's no spring chicken, and his weight and diet and circulation are nothing to brag about. His mind was never strong in being able to recognize reality, to read or understand a policy or any issue of substance, or even manage anything with some attention for a little while. For him success came through bluff, bluster, threats, blackmail, cheating, lies, and links to corrupt judges and politicians. And of course, laundering hundreds of millions in dirty Russian money from the gangsters around Putin, pretending to be a successful executive in a fictitious "reality" show, and fooling millions of Americans into believing his election victory had been stolen and he could give them all they wanted. As to not taking a lot of what he says seriously, how can we not be upset to hear nonsense like using the military to take over Greenland or the Panama Canal? Is that even sane or relevant to America's problems? He may be saying it to distract attention from his huge tax cuts for the rich and tariffs and deportations which will raise prices and probably bring a crash in the stock market with economic instability and higher prices in a few months. He will certainly launch investigations of political adversaries and critics to teach them a lesson - those threats are not just to frighten Democrats or media. How do we know that? Simply because we know that Donald Trump is a vengeful mean-minded coward and rascal. Now that he has power, he has every desire and need to hit back at those he feels humiliated him and gave him a bad time. The man is a psychopath, America has elected as its president the greatest charlatan in its history, someone who is bad, mad, and dangerous. If we are lucky, he won't live long or even if he survives, be able to do anything because his health and mind fail him completely.

I've always be flabbergasted by the monopolies in retail that have been going on for a long time. They limit our choices for where to shop. It's greedy. Yet, a lot of companies who have opened up stores on every corner/ block have not worked and then stores are closed. I am being more aware of just how material we have become in this world. Concerning consumerism, if people wake up to the damage to the environment that is done to produce so much unneeded stuff then we would see some real change. Just look what's in the dollar type stores. Most of the contents would disappear and it wouldn't affect our lifestyles.
